Just to see who has been paying attention....

Over the years I have taught many thousands of concepts, techniques and other things and I hope I have explained them adequately. Now I want to hear from all (any?) of you.

Which phrase is correct?

"If you want to be the Tiger, you must look like the Tiger."

or:

"If you want to look like the Tiger, you must be the Tiger."

Is either phrase correct? Can both be correct? If so, how? If not, how not?

Good luck!

The second phrase is almost correct. Although the first phrase has some merit. Do you want to be a tiger? Or do you want those aspects of the tiger when it is in combat? Actually, both are somewhat misleading. We are humans; not tigers.
